September 2002 Newsletter
Hey
there everyone! This months newsletter has three new book
reviews and lots of opinions / thoughts by me. New
business-related articles are on the way, with 3-4 to be
published in the month of September. I will discuss the
national debt, U.S. and world population growth, some
interesting facts about the civil war as it pertains to
economics and a brief discussion of the "knowledge
economy."
As
always, I appreciate all feedback and comments.

Articles

I posted a few thoughts this
month but overall updates to the website remained weak due to
computer problems. The bottom line is that my computer
was available for only five days due to a power management
hardware failure. An article will DEFINITELY be written
in September about the debacle and my opinion of Sony
computers and COMPUSA technical services.
The first two articles are
insights that I have picked up from reading books in recent
months. The second article is more personal in nature
but definitely worth thinking about.

believer that most government agencies are inefficient and, if

debate about whether or not to invade Iraq continues. I
pay A LOT of attention to what the military experts say.
Most of them say, "Why are we going to fight them and it
will be a tough, lethal fight."

New
Book Reviews

I published three new book
reviews (posted in order from my favorite to least
favorite). This month's books are really good books on
marketing / internet entrepreneurship. The first two are
excellent management books and really caused me to see the
world / business from a different perspective
The new books are:
In September I anticipate
only posting one new book review as most of my focus will be
on writing new articles and cleaning up the website following
all of the changes that have been made.

Full length book reviews for Free
Agent Nation and Differentiate
or Die have been posted.
Both books are excellent books. Free Agent
Nation discusses the evolution of the U.S. workplace and how
it is impacting society, individuals and organizations.
Differentiate or Die is an excellent marketing book with tons
of excellent facts/insights.

New Look to the Website!

The comments were very
positive about the website in August. Newsletter members
and web surfers thought the website looked pretty good so I am
finally reaching a point of being content.
Moving forward there will
only be minor changes to the front page. I am in the
process of changing previous book reviews to the new
format. I anticipate that the changes should be complete
by the end of September.
