New
Book Reviews / Changes
*********************************************************************************
In the August Newsletter
I stated that only a few book reviews would be published in
upcoming months due to time commitments. This held true in the
month of September as I was traveling and on vacation.
As a result no new book reviews were published. In
the next few weeks I will be focusing my energies on (1)
improving the current 100 book reviews and (2) writing book
reviews of "classics" in respective categories.
My primary goals in the month of October are 2-3 new articles,
2-3 new Op-Ed Columns and 2 new book reviews. This
should be quite the load given that I am moving in the month
of October.

Book
of the Month
**********************************************************************************
A full-length book review of
The 22 Immutable Laws of Branding has been published. I
highly encourage people to read the book as it provided some
eye-opening insights for me. When I see any commercial
or corporate communication I truly see it from a different
perspective now.

Changes
to the Website!

Newsletter
As you hopefully noticed I
have changed the manner in which the monthly newsletter is
delivered to you. The
goal of the new delivery is to provide a more eye-appealing
newsletter to individuals with html capable
e-mail.
MY NFL Football Picks
I
added a "Football Picks" section entitled Madman
Sports. If you want
to find out why I added this section click here.
The easiest explanation is that some of my buddies wanted
to know who I liked in the upcoming week of NFL picks. I
personally see it as a chance for
me to help you beat your co-workers in the office
pool. Last weekend I got SLAUGHTERED, like many
people I know. Through week 3 I was beating most
professional gamblers, who typically score no higher than
65%-70% throughout the NFL season.
I appreciate all feedback and
comments and would greatly appreciate your feelings on the
newsletter as it has caused me quite a bit of head scratching
in recent months.

I
am Currently Working on the Following:
**********************************************************************************
- Moving
in the second week of October.
- Writing
2-3 new business-related articles for next month.
- Writing
2-3 new Op-Ed Comments for next month.
- Gathering
information that was lost so I can write an Energy Report
& a Telecommunications report.
- Finishing
up a report on worldwide demographics.
- Working
specifically on a "knowledge economy" article.
- Marketing
of the website. This is going to be my primary focus
for the website through the end of the year. Like I
said in an Op-Ed Column last month, I would like to get
the number of subscribers over 1000 by the end of 2003.
The simple reason for such a large number is because, at
1000 subscribers, the impact of my articles should give me
a tremendous amount of personal gratification and
hopefully the impact can be felt in thousands of
organizations worldwide.
